Germaine Curry paints still life, landscapes and portraits. While attending Northern Michigan University, she studied several years with a Michigan realist artist.
After moving to Virginia, she laid down her brushes, picking them up again some thirty years later. Germaine is proficient in oils and acrylics and has studied with
several well known local and national artists. She and husband John, who is very supportive, are retired. Some of her inspiration comes from photos on the rivers
and marshes around their Carrollton home.
