She has taken art lessons for many years in a variety of media—oil, watercolor, acrylics, stained glass, charcoal and pencil drawing, oil pastels, Chinese ink and wash painting, and pottery. She produces primarily impressionistic works using both brushes and palette knives in oils and acrylics.
