Brian Ross is a long time resident of Chesapeake where he grew up with a passion for art. Brian is proudly self-taught and constantly developing his own unique style. His work often shows mark making and is in a style he calls “sketchy impressionism”. Many of his works are inspired by nature.
Since 2000, Brian has worked almost exclusively in the Soft Pastel medium.  After many years of being a “closet artist”, Brian Ross found the courage to show his artwork and get involved in the local art scene; He enjoys meeting other artists and supporting the community through art. His work is now in many personal collections, and he accepts commissions and enjoys
working with clients to develop a very special piece.
