Beverly gurganus

 Born and raised in VirginiaBeach, VA Beverly developed a love for art as a young child, but it wasn't until her early 30's that she decided to pursue art.   Beverly taught elementary art for three years before becoming a stay at home mom.  She now paints full time in her home studio in Chesapeake, VA, as well as teaching a monthly home school art class.  Beverly’s medium of choice is oils, but she also enjoys watercolor.

Beverly is inspired by her daily experiences with life and nature whether it be from mothering her three girls, getting her hands dirty in the garden, raising chickens, or just breathing in the beauty and wonder of God's created world.  She strives for continuous growth by experimenting with techniques, colors, and subjects.
